Schedule
LU LU BREWMEISTERS VIST YARDS BREWING COMPANY!
At noon on Saturday, April 16th, we will be visiting the Yards Brewery at 901 N Delaware Ave. in Philadelphia.
We'll be taking a tour of the facility, tasting their wares, and having lunch together.
And you are invited! Actually, everyone is invited! All Shriners and Masons along with their family, friends, and casual acquaintances are welcomed to accompany us.
Not only does Yards make award-winning ales, but they are famous for their commitment to environmental sustainability. Yards is the first wind-powered brewery in Pennsylvania and they reuse or recycle as much as possible. It will surely be an interesting and educational tour.
Also, Yards brews "Ales of the Revolution" including Brother George Washington's own Tavern Porter and Brother Benjamin Franklin's Tavern Spruce Ale; made from the actual written recipes left behind by our brethren.
The trip and the tour are FREE! Just cover your own tab for drinks and lunch. Dress is casual, but no one with open-toed shoes will be allowed to tour the brewery as a safety precaution.
If you're a Shriner, bring your fez along so we can take some pictures!
The Lu Lu Brewmeisters make ales, lagers, wines, and root beer all from scratch. If you would like to join our Unit or are just curious about the brewing process or our activities, visit us on the web at www.BrewWithLuLu.com.
